The Avett Brothers…they are a sick bluegrass band out of concord, nc. they combine hardcore music with bluegrass and it’s the craziest show i’ve been to.
and i think the girls should step up in this whole blog thing…the two guys are the first to post, o snap.
I love the Avett Brothers!!! They are soo amazing! I might be seeing them play this weekend at this music festival called Langerado.
O but I would have Michael Buble because I am obsessed with him and just met and ate pizza with him last weekend!
Well, as I’m sitting here listening to Michael Buble, I would have to say either him or Frank Sinatra. I’m a fan of the swooners in general.
The beach boys would be awesome to have at a party!
I’m liking the Michael Buble answer but I think I would have to go with Starfield, they are my favorite.
Neko Case. Oh my word! She is the best female vocalist of our time, hands down. If you think that you’ve perhaps heard the best female voice you’ve ever heard, you’re probably wrong, because it’s definitely her. Her solo music would best be suited for a fancier party, because it’s folky/country-ish, but being that she’s so versatile, she can get her power pop band, The New Pornographers, to get everyone jumping around. I met this lady, as well, and she’s so very sweet.
Sufjan Stevens, that’s an easy pick. and maybe Damien Rice or Regina Spektor.
Well, Rachel, I might be slightly jealous that you met and ate pizza with Michael Buble!!!! LOVE HIM!!!
This is a hard question, I’m such a music freak!!! Depends on the KIND of party…I would have The Rat Pack (Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, & Sammy Davis Jr.), Michael Buble, or Josh Groban…but then I would also want Damien Rice, Dave Barnes, Matt Wertz, Colbie Caillat, John Legend, KT Tunstall (amazing LIVE performance), Jack Johnson… I could go on…but I’ll stop!! 🙂 Ahh, I need an easier question!!!
Sufjan? Alright, Amie, we’re going to be friends.
jade, i am thoroughly pleased with your taste in music haha.
I am also pleased to see that I like all the music that has been named thus far.
